We believe that, through faith, we share the salvation offered us through the life, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Grounded in the unity of faith, and in the love of our God, Father, Son and Holy Spirit, we commit ourselves to seek for ways in which our mission and ministry may be mutually deepened and furthered through worship, prayer, study, reflection and action together.

 

We cherish and celebrate the diversity of gifts, traditions, and perspectives which we bring to this task. We acknowledge with sorrow that relations between our traditions in the past too often have been marked by disagreement and by conflict. We commit ourselves actively to dispel misunderstanding and suspicion, and to work towards relationships of trust and mutual respect. Our goal is unity without uniformity, diversity without division.
